Business Continuity Officer (f/m/d)

Job Summary
Conduct Business Impact Analyses with process owners to identify critical dependencies and coordinate group BCM policy implementation. Act as the primary contact for Business Continuity within the Business Unit, driving continuous improvement of the BCM framework and developing maturity roadmaps. Ensure Disaster Recovery tests are planned and executed while managing incident reporting and emergency procedures in alignment with key stakeholders. Support the Crisis Management Support Team with Business Continuity Plans and design awareness initiatives and training programs. Coordinate Business, IT, OT, and Service Continuity to ensure activities run consistently across the organization. Report on BCM maturity and roadmap progress to the BU Board and VP BCM.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in Business Continuity Management in matrix organizations and/or functional organizations
- Strong track record in implementing BCM programs at scale
- Operational experience across diverse business functions
- Strong understanding of IT/OT service continuity and disaster recovery concepts (e.g. RTO/RPO, resilience patterns)
- Expert knowledge of ISO 22301
- Basic understanding of ISO27001, 27019 and 27031
- Relevant BCM/ Resilience certification such as CBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or equivalent
- Good understanding of grid/energy systems, IT and OT environments
- High ownership and decision-making capability, even under uncertainty
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across stakeholders
- Strategic thinking who connects big-picture goals with practical execution
- Strong business acumen with understanding of value, risk, and operations
- Fluent in English and local language (written and spoken)
- Valid driver's license (Class B)
