Business Continuity Engineer – Operational Resilience & AI Automation

Job Summary
Lead the modernization and continuous improvement of the Business Continuity program, driving Business Impact Analysis (BIA), dependency mapping, and AI-enabled workflow development to strengthen enterprise operational resilience. Coordinate with the Disaster Recovery team to support technology recovery activities, validate alignment between business processes and recovery capabilities, and escalate complex recovery issues. Manage cross-functional collaboration to develop, implement, and test Business Continuity plans while ensuring governance, quality assurance, and fallback mechanisms are incorporated into AI-driven processes. This third-shift role (10:00 pm - 7:00 am IST) requires a Master's degree or equivalent experience in risk management or information systems. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Bachelor's degree and 5 to 9 years of experience in Risk Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- Familiarity with automation concepts, AI-enabled workflows, and Agentic AI principles
- Ability and willingness to learn and apply emerging technologies to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery processes
- Must have experience leading and influencing efforts of diverse teams
- Must enjoy and feel comfortable building rapport and collaborating with diverse individuals
- Must produce new ideas through adaptability to make business continuity, disaster recovery, and AI-enabled resilience concepts relevant and relatable to staff around the globe
- Must be highly motivated and move quickly to recognize and resolve issues
- Must take ownership and set high expectations for self and the program while working diligently to achieve results with a systems and automation mindset
- Must be willing and able to work during night shifts
- Must be available for third shift (10:00 pm - 7:00 am IST)
Desired Qualifications
- Degree educated in a business-related, information systems, computer science, risk management, or related subject
- Strong/proven project management skills to meet deliverables and goals
- Experience leading Business Continuity planning, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Business Continuity Plan (BCP) development, dependency mapping, testing, governance, risk assessment, and operational resilience initiatives
- Working knowledge of Disaster Recovery planning and recovery coordination
- Experience designing, implementing, integrating, testing, maintaining, and continuously improving Agentic AI-enabled workflows across enterprise platforms
- Experience designing AI-enabled workflows that identify process improvements while incorporating governance, fallback, override, recovery, and escalation capabilities
- Experience ensuring policy and standard compliance for AI or Agentic AI builds
- Experience applying AI or Agentic AI to automate Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery planning, plan generation, dependency mapping, process analysis, reporting, and exercise development
- Experience mapping dependencies across vendors, suppliers, technology, resources, critical systems, and other factors that influence BC/DR readiness
- Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated with strong analytical, troubleshooting, learning agility, initiative, and follow-through skills
- Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
