Job Summary

Support teams and Services to understand current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and make better use of technology including Oracle Cloud, AI (Copilot), and Microsoft tools. Assist in planning, creating, and delivering engagement activities such as workshops and collaboration sessions to support change. Develop and maintain practical support materials like guidance and process maps to help embed new ways of working. Build positive relationships with colleagues to facilitate change, gather and analyse feedback to understand impact, and contribute practical solutions to identified issues. Work within the Business Management Innovation Unit to challenge individuals and teams to think differently and introduce new working methods. Manage a varied workload and adapt to changing priorities while engaging with colleagues across all levels.

Required Qualifications

  • Educated to SCQF Level 7 (HNC / Advanced Highers) or equivalent experience
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues across Services
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and changing environment, with the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload
  • Confidence to engage with colleagues at all levels and support change and improvement activity
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, with the ability to identify issues and help develop practical solutions
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain ideas clearly and support engagement activity
  • A flexible and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to learn and develop
  • An organised approach to work, ensuring tasks are progressed effectively and deadlines are met
  • Must be able to travel to and attend office locations in Fife as required

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting change or improvement activity, including helping teams understand current ways of working and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Experience working collaboratively with others, including supporting workshops, engagement activity and gathering feedback to help deliver shared outcomes
  • Experience using technology and information to support improvement, including digital tools (e.g. Microsoft 365) and using data or feedback to inform decisions
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud, AI (Copilot) and other Microsoft and digital tools
