Job Summary
As a Business Capability Specialist, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and the Data, Digital & Informatics organization to enable technology solutions that support BioNTech’s mission. You will analyze business processes to identify gaps, support the planning and implementation of technology projects, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Life Sciences industry, with specific expertise in business process mapping and GxP guidelines. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or Life Sciences-related fields
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Life Sciences industry
- Deep understanding of R&D business processes and data management within pharmaceutical settings
- Strong knowledge of technologies and trends in the pharmaceutical industry
- Expertise in project management principles
- Familiarity with GxP guidelines and Computer System Validation processes
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Medical Affairs or MSPv is highly preferred
- Experience supporting digital platforms commonly used in Global Development organizations is a plus
- Strong knowledge of technologies and trends in the pharmaceutical industry
- Expertise in business process mapping efforts (as-is/to-be)
- Familiarity with GxP guidelines and Computer System Validation processes
- Exceptional analytical skills combined with a proactive mindset
- Superb interpersonal skills for effective engagement across diverse teams
