Business Banking Senior Credit Analyst

Job Summary
Senior-level Business Banking Credit Analyst responsible for leading complex credit analysis and underwriting for business banking clients. Key duties include producing complex credit analyses for new extensions of credit, renewals, and annual reviews; guiding and training other analysts; monitoring client performance against loan covenants and borrowing base; applying loan policy to credit decisions; assembling complete loan request packages with pertinent financial information; summarizing important loan conditions and collateral structures; and leveraging systems such as spreading software, credit approval software, Salesforce.com, and nCino. Role may require adjusted hours, including overtime and evenings/weekends. Education/experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent credit training/certification) and a minimum of three years in commercial credit analysis; strong communication, organizational, and customer-service skills; ability to work with technology tools and stay informed on industry trends; travel may be required. The position is full-time and based in Austin, TX. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years in commercial credit analysis
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other applicable undergraduate or graduate degree; preferred
- In lieu of a degree, completed formal credit training program or certification
- Proven ability to analyze complex credit data and financial statements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks on time
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com and nCino Bank Operating System
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Knowledge of loan policy, covenant monitoring, and collateral structures
