Job Summary
This role involves managing, acquiring, and deepening a portfolio of commercial customer relationships in the Business Banking target market of $10MM to $50MM in annual revenue. Responsibilities include leading advisory-driven conversations to assess client needs, delivering value-added recommendations, partnering with Centers of Influence and internal stakeholders to expand business opportunities, and engaging with the community to build networks. The position requires 4+ years of upper Business Banking experience, formal Commercial Credit Training, strong communication skills, proficiency in Salesforce, and a customer-centric mindset.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in upper Business Banking or Lower Middle Market
- Completion of formal Commercial Credit Training
- Proven success managing moderately complex portfolios, clients, and transactions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on satisfaction and retention
- Skilled in consultative selling, needs identification, and problem solving
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to overcome objections
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with prospects, clients, and COIs
- Self-driven with a track record of generating new business
- Results-oriented with a high level of accountability
- Solid understanding of risk, compliance, and core banking products
