Job Summary
Business Banking Relationship Manager responsible for acting as the trusted advisor and primary contact for business clients, driving growth by understanding client needs, presenting KeyBank’s products (cash management, payments, equipment finance, etc.), and coordinating cross-functional teams. Requires building a Center of Influence referral network, active prospecting, and ongoing credit/portfolio management to ensure asset quality and risk controls. Emphasizes relationship development, cross-selling opportunities, and adherence to risk and compliance standards in a client-centric banking context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (required)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a small business/commercial lending environment (required)
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in cross-selling products and an ability and track record to meet or exceed aggressive sales goals (required)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to build trust with client-centric approach
- Knowledge of credit underwriting and portfolio management preferred
