Job Summary
Develop a portfolio of customers, prospects, and Centers of Influence through networking and business development efforts. Sell bank products to new and existing clients while partnering with assigned branches for cross-sale opportunities and relationship management. Source, evaluate, and recommend new business banking opportunities for loan and deposit relationships, including C&I and CRE, and conduct preliminary underwriting and credit request structuring. Manage external relationships with key community partners and maintain internal bank contact management systems with full history. Coordinate calling and relationship activities with commercial, investments, treasury, retail, and insurance partners. Conduct preliminary underwriting and structure of credit requests. Maintain internal Bank contact management system including full history.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of training and related experience
- Five-to-eight years of sales and management experience
- basic understanding of commercial businesses and banking
- Demonstrated basic knowledge of credit
- some prior credit training

- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sales skills in a fast paced environment
- Able to utilize full range of prospecting sales activities
- Technologically proficient
- Candidate must be able to attend networking and other events outside of customary business hours
