Job Summary
Proactively develop and maintain business relationships through calling efforts, establishing loans, deposits, and treasury management services for clients with revenues between $500,000 and $5,000,000. Actively initiate contacts to promote bank products, counsel customers on financing needs, and complete detailed loan application reviews. Analyze customer financial status and credit to determine loan feasibility, then partner with the Credit team to facilitate processing. Engage with branch partners to educate staff on client needs and referrals while collaborating with other lines of business to develop leads. This role requires 3+ years of business lending experience, a minimum of two days per week in Cornelius, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as a business lender
- demonstrated record of achieving goals
- Successful completion of bank training program(s) for lending
- Must be bondable
- valid driver's license
- Excellent attention to detail

- Thorough knowledge of all bank business lending and deposit products
- Demonstrated knowledge of bank policies, procedures, lending practices, and bank business lending and deposit products
- Demonstrated knowledge of credit analysis functions and related requirements and procedures
- Ability to think and act independently within guidelines of bank policy and assigned personal authority
- Familiarity with all federal and state banking regulations pertaining to lending and consumer compliance, including fair lending laws
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
