Job Summary
Initiate business contacts to develop relationships, promote bank products and services, and maintain the acquisition pipeline and existing portfolio. Counsel customers on business financing needs, process and complete detailed loan application reviews, and analyze customer financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine loan feasibility. Partner with the Credit team to facilitate loan processing and collaborate with other lines of business to develop leads and referrals. Engage with branch partners to educate staff on client needs identification and referrals. This role targets clients with annual revenues of $500,000 to $5,000,000 and lending needs up to $1,500,000. Requires 3+ years of business lending experience, successful completion of bank training, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as a business lender
- demonstrated record of achieving goals
- Successful completion of bank training program(s) for lending
- Must be bondable
- valid driver's license
- Excellent attention to detail

- Thorough knowledge of all bank business lending and deposit products
- Demonstrated knowledge of bank policies, procedures, lending practices, and bank business lending and deposit products
- Demonstrated knowledge of credit analysis functions and related requirements and procedures
- Ability to think and act independently within guidelines of bank policy and assigned personal authority
- Familiarity with all federal and state banking regulations pertaining to lending and consumer compliance, including fair lending laws
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
