Job Summary
The Payment Solutions Market Manager is an individual-contributor sales role within Business Banking focused on companies with $2.5M-$50M in revenue. Responsibilities include prospecting, creating and managing a targeted pipeline, executing merchant sales strategies and campaigns, and growing productive partner relationships with bank stakeholders. Must manage multiple priorities, demonstrate strong sales acumen and pipeline management, and leverage Salesforce to track opportunities. Preferred experience in payment processing and merchant services (3+ years), with excellent customer service, follow-up, communication, and collaboration skills. The role requires travel and is located to support markets in Charlotte, NC, with candidates must be located in the market.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five to eight years of relevant sales experience
- Ability to travel
- Proficiency in Salesforce to manage opportunities
- Merchant Services selling experience strongly preferred (3 or more years)
- Point of Sale Software and Systems experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with collaboration skills
