Job Summary
Senior Business Banking Consultant focused on underserved communities, driving business development and relationship-building with Community Development Financial Institutions, non-profits, and local organizations to connect clients with Chase financial solutions across lines (Wealth Management, Home Lending, Merchant and Card Services). Lead efforts to cultivate networks, deliver tailored banking solutions, and provide proactive financial guidance to improve client outcomes. Collaborates with branches and partners to ensure a seamless client experience, leveraging knowledge of finance, banking, credit, and risk management to grow the portfolio and support client goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business banking relationship management role or related business / commercial lending experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong relationship management skills; demonstrate strong tactical business development and negotiation skills
- Demonstrate seasoned judgment to offer comprehensive and customized solutions that best meet client needs; monitors and researches market/industry trends and business outcomes to anticipate client needs and present proactive solutions
- Able to identify opportunities, issues, and viable alternatives, while managing risk, when traditional solutions do not apply
