Job Summary
Develop new commercial banking relationships with small and middle-market businesses across Atlanta, building a balanced portfolio of C&I and owner-occupied real estate loans. Generate and grow core deposits while partnering with treasury management to deliver cash management solutions including remote deposit capture, purchasing cards, and lockbox services. Maintain a strong calling program with business owners, centers of influence, and referral partners, structuring credit opportunities in partnership with underwriting teams. Manage the full client relationship including lending, deposits, and ancillary services for privately held firms in the lower middle market segment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven business development banker
- Strong network in the Atlanta market
- Track record of generating both loans and deposits
- Experience working with small to middle-market commercial clients
- Strong local market presence
- Established relationships among business owners, CPAs, attorneys, and other referral sources
- Ability to independently source and develop new opportunities
