Business Assurance Special Pathogen Nurse Educator

The REPSTC Nurse Educator will train Corewell Health team members and EMS staff on care and treatment of patients on the Special Pathogens Unit at Butterworth Hospital/HDVCH. The role develops, coordinates, manages, facilitates, conducts and evaluates orientation and competency programs, collaborates with operational leaders to address knowledge deficits, designs educational opportunities to improve outcomes, and mentors nursing and clinical staff. It requires applying evidence-based practice, fostering interprofessional learning, and leveraging quality improvement principles. The position involves frequent overnight travel, is grant funded, and is a hybrid role with in-person trainings in Grand Rapids.
