Business Assurance Associate

Job Summary
Support the production of Business Assurance reports, dashboards, and committee packs by analysing audit data to identify trends, risks, and inconsistencies. Maintain remediation action trackers, update assurance records, and respond to routine queries from stakeholders. Contribute to the Technical File Audit Programme by tracking completion, collating results, and investigating findings for root cause analysis. Collaborate across the business to gather information, support process improvement initiatives, and develop knowledge of insurance and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent), including English and Maths
- Cert CII qualification, or willingness to work towards achieving it
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Good numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with data, reporting, administration, analysis or management information through education, internships, placements or previous employment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Copilot
- Ability to analyse information, identify trends and recognise inconsistencies in data
- Experience maintaining trackers, reports, records or structured documentation
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience building effective working relationships with colleagues, customers or stakeholders
- Knowledge of, or interest in, audit, risk, compliance, insurance or business assurance environments
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats
