Job Summary
Business Associate in the Quality and Risk Management team at KPMG. Responsibilities include building relationships with onshore stakeholders, providing updates on work pipeline, liaising with internal stakeholders and risk management to understand requirements, documenting key issues, ensuring consistency and quality of support to onshore teams, analyzing risk and documenting screening results with strong English writing, and leveraging databases and risk knowledge to mitigate risks. Skills emphasize stakeholder communication, risk assessment, regulatory understanding, attention to detail, SOP adherence, and the ability to work in a dynamic team.
Required Qualifications
- Strong ability to effectively use databases including corporate registries, company websites, news aggregators, professional and social networking sites
- Ability to comprehend, articulate and mitigate risk based on knowledge of regulations and international risk guidelines
- Ability to see the holistic view of risk and mitigate wherever possible
- Attention to detail and ability to articulate mitigation plans
- Ability to escalate in a timely manner any risk that cannot be mitigated
- Ability to run self-reviews on deliverables and ensure SOPs are followed with zero defects
- Understanding of Third-Party Risk Assessment, Client Risk Assessment and Engagement Risk Assessment (added advantage)
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Professionalism and strong work ethics
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment
- Willingness to work hard, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
- Ability to follow instructions clearly and demonstrate attention to detail
