Business Area Redesign to Cost Specialist (m/f/div)

Job Summary
Identify and drive cost reduction opportunities for products and materials; lead workshops and discussions to generate new cost-saving ideas; evaluate and prioritize ideas based on savings potential and feasibility; track progress and ensure initiatives deliver expected savings; resolve blockers and manage risks that impact timelines or results; escalate critical issues and propose alternative solutions when needed; monitor and report cost-saving performance; support continuous improvement of cost optimization processes.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Economics/ Technical studies or relevant professional experience
- Experience in Purchasing, R&D, Project Management or in Innovation Management
- Strong English skills
- Product Life Cycle (PLC) knowledge
- Management skills, structured approaches and problem solving skills
- Experience in organization, preparation, moderation of Workshops (internal and/or suppliers) to find new ideas
- Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
