Job Summary
Design, build, test, deploy, and support browser-based business applications and ERP extensions using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and server-side technologies within Infor CloudSuite Distribution and Infor OS. Create accessible interfaces, workflows, and integrations that consume REST APIs with proper authentication, validation, and error handling. Troubleshoot application defects, integration failures, and performance issues while coordinating resolution across teams. Support application upgrades, patches, and regression testing with business users, ensuring maintainability and upgradeability within vendor constraints. Translate business needs into practical technical designs, surface risks early, and own production behavior post-deployment. This onsite role in West Columbia, SC, requires 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM hours with occasional availability for critical issues and travel to the Virginia facility.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated professional experience.
- Five or more years delivering production web or enterprise applications as part of a team that used source control, review, testing, release, and support practices.
- Experience extending or supporting ERP applications, vendor platforms, or other operational systems in a distribution, supply chain, or similar business environment.
- Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills, including experience developing and debugging browser-based interfaces.
- Experience consuming REST APIs and interpreting technical API documentation, authentication requirements, data models, and error responses.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with source control, testing, release, and deployment practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, work as part of a team, and move work forward in an environment of urgency.
- Ability to effectively and responsibly leverage AI for development.
- Experience with AngularJS, Angular, React, or another component-based front-end framework.
- ERP applications, vendor platforms, or supported extension frameworks in distribution, supply chain, warehousing, or another operational environment.
- Application or service development using C#/.NET, Python, or another suitable server-side language.
- API design and testing with OpenAPI/Swagger, Postman, or equivalent tools.
- Application security, upgrade testing, integration support, and production monitoring.
- Onsite position based at our distribution headquarters in West Columbia, SC
- Standard working hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday with 1 hour for lunch.
- Requires availability outside of standard hours as needed to support critical issues or projects (1-2 times/month).
- Requires travel as needed for industry conferences, meetings, and onsite work at our VA facility (2-3 times/year).
- Ability to sit or stand at a workstation for up to six hours at a time.
- Must possess fine motor skills and finger dexterity necessary for precise and efficient use of a keyboard, mouse, and trackpad in performing job-related tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate frequently and clearly in both verbal and written formats.
- Must have the ability to see and interpret detailed information, including small text and images, on screens, paper, or other materials, with or without corrective lenses.
- Must be able to process complex information, evaluate multiple variables, and apply logical reasoning to solve problems and make informed decisions.
