Job Summary
The Business Application Analyst 3 is responsible for supporting the core functions of enterprise business systems to enable high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include assisting customers with design and implementation, leading system implementations, project management, and providing ongoing support and problem resolution. The analyst must gather requirements through various methods, create quality documentation, develop test plans, and train staff. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), five years of relevant application support in Healthcare or related fields, and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. This role demands excellent customer service and effective communication capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a Healthcare related field strongly preferred
- A minimum of 5 years application support experience, preferably in Healthcare; or a minimum of 5 years in patient care, ancillary or revenue cycle departments; or currently employed with KHI as a Business Applications Analyst 2 for a minimum of one year
- Proven experience working with multidisciplinary workgroups, departments, and individuals
- Demonstrated high level analytic, implementation, and troubleshooting skills over a broad range of systems
- Understanding of clinical/business workflow, systems integration, HL7, and security
- Knowledge of HIPAA, HITEC, and Meaningful Use
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification or eligibility preferred
