Business and Technical Implementation Manager (migrations)

Job Summary
Create and manage an integrated implementation plan covering business readiness, technical execution, data migration, testing, cutover, and service transition for the migration of Life and Pensions books from legacy mainframe to Integro. Lead readiness governance across business, technology, operational, and supplier teams to provide evidence-based recommendations for go/no-go decisions and ensure safe delivery. Own the cutover command structure, migration runbook, checkpoint timetable, and escalation routes while driving the transition into business as usual, including early-life support and warranty exit criteria. Capture lessons learned to develop reusable approaches for future migrations. This permanent role is based in Alderley Park with a hybrid working style of 50% from home and 50% in the office.
Required Qualifications
- Strong implementation or senior project management experience across complex business and technology change
- Experience of migration delivery, readiness management, cutover control, service transition and post-go-live support
- A track record of leading through a matrix structure across business, technology, operations and third-party teams
- Strong planning, governance, risk, issue and dependency management skills
- The ability to translate technical and data migration activity into clear business messages and senior decision papers
- Confident stakeholder management, evidence-based reporting and disciplined action ownership
- The ability to work effectively through ambiguity, remove blockers and maintain focus across competing priorities
- Only candidates who possess a valid right to work in the UK or Eligibility to work in Ireland will be able to undertake this role
- Must be available for hybrid working (50% from home / 50% office based) at Alderley Park (Wilmslow)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of life and pensions administration, closed-book migration, Integro or legacy platforms would be advantageous
