Job Summary
Establish contracts with community businesses and vendors to provide employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. Seek new work opportunities through networking and professional affiliations, while developing relationships with funding sources and community organizations. Represent vocational services through presentations and marketing efforts, and prepare work orders to ensure job expectations are clearly communicated. Train personnel on job specifications, complete agency forms and documentation, and monitor program expenses within established budget parameters. Maintain current knowledge of agency policies and applicable standards from CARF, DVRS, DCF, DDD, DOE, and DOL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related area
- At least two years of experience in the sales/marketing field
- Valid NJ driver's license with no more than five points
- Successful completion of all required Division of Developmental Disabilities pre-service trainings
- Ability to successfully complete and maintain valid Crisis Management Training
- Must meet and maintain the requirements to successfully pass a state and federal criminal history check
- Must successfully pass a Central Registry Check
- Must successfully pass a Child Abuse Registry (CARI) check
- Must comply with and successfully pass all required pre-employment and active employment drug screening processes
