Job Summary
Define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding while analyzing business and user needs to translate them into proper system requirement specifications. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems, re-engineers processes for greater efficiency, and assesses the impact of system changes on stakeholders. Influences business partners regarding priorities and vendor selection by analyzing marketplace trends and calculating the ROI of alternative solutions. Document business strategies, metrics, and improvement opportunities, utilizing knowledge of ACH payments and enterprise systems to develop or modify complex information systems. Requires 5+ years in banking/payments with Fedwire settlement platform experience; three times weekly onsite in Johnston, RI with flexible work-from-home options available.
Required Qualifications
- Banking/Payments domain with at least 5+ years of experience
- 5 Automated Clearinghouse payments (ACH)
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
Desired Qualifications
- Enterprise Payments and Open Payments Framework is an added advantage
- Client Fedwire settlement platform
- Client Fedwire ISO 20022 knowledge (nice to have)
- Money transfer business knowledge
- Any U.S. money transfer regulatory knowledge also helpful
- Experience working in the consulting industry
- Understanding of complex Internet-based enterprise-level applications
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Track record of delivering on time, on budget, and meeting client commitments
