Job Summary
Build a functional and technical requirements catalogue for Information Lifecycle Management and Digital Preservation solutions by eliciting latent needs, resolving conflicts, and coordinating stakeholder signoffs. Collaborate on producing Request for Proposal documents, evaluating vendor submissions, and ensuring proposed solutions meet specified requirements. Design an Information Governance blueprint covering lifecycle management and security, then execute User Acceptance Tests and support the roll-out of a Minimum Viable Product. Contribute to project templates, maintain Asana and SharePoint platforms, and monitor strategic plans. This fixed-term, 12-month role is based in Geneva or Paris for an international humanitarian organization.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or comparable education in computer science, business administration, information science or related field
- 5+ years of work experience in implementing information systems solutions
- 5+ years as business analyst, technical consultant, information systems project manager or enterprise architect
- Fluency in English and French
- French B2
- English B2
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams)
- Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to draw information from people
- Strong capacity to understand business needs and to capture and transform them into solutions
- Project management skills
- Understand information security, information lifecycle, data protection, and compliance concepts

Desired Qualifications
- Additional education or training in Records Management, Archival Information Systems and Digital Preservation
- Experience in an international work environment (international organization, humanitarian organization or similar)
- Experience in carrying out projects in Information Lifecycle Management, Records Management, Digital Preservation, Archival Information Systems, Enterprise Content Management or similar
- Training and certification in any of the mentioned areas
- Experience in AI-/machine-assisted taxonomy-building, metadata-creation, classification, archiving or similar
