Job Summary
Business Analyst to support a federal government contract, focusing on translating stakeholder requirements into actionable insights and technical specs. Responsibilities include gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements; creating and coordinating UAT plans; designing process models with Visio; using macros and automation to streamline data analysis and reporting; collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate needs into technical solutions; conducting data analysis to identify trends and opportunities; developing reports, dashboards, and presentations to inform decisions; mapping current processes and recommending improvements; facilitating requirements sessions and creating functional specifications and business cases; monitoring outcomes and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in business analysis within a professional services environment
- Strong proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements
- Experience with user acceptance testing and coordinating UAT activities
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visio for process mapping and documentation
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
