Job Summary

Own and maintain the Pain Points & Issues Register and Opportunity Map as living documents, converting department pain points into scoped, evidenced opportunities using the value and feasibility framework. Write PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for AI-enabled tools while overseeing project management dashboards and budgets. Capture baselines before AI initiatives launch and measure adoption, consumption, and ROI against those metrics to support the three-month pilot and follow-on phases. Prototype automation frameworks to streamline tracking and reduce manual workloads. Support Data Protection Impact Assessments for initiatives processing sensitive data and maintain the use-case inventory and risk tiering underpinning the governance framework. Act as the analytical bridge between the AI function and the wider business, translating technical capability into actionable requirements and supporting vendor evaluation and training enablement.

Required Qualifications

  • Has worked as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst or similar in a technology, SaaS or data-driven environment

  • Familiarity with data protection principles, including UK GDPR and Data Protection Impact Assessments, sufficient to recognise when a proposed initiative needs a formal compliance check
  • Comfortable working with data from multiple systems, including CRM, support, product usage and financial data, to identify patterns and prioritise
  • Awareness of agile and product ways of working, including backlog management and stage-gated delivery
  • Strong structured-thinking and synthesis skills, able to turn a room of stakeholders describing loosely related problems into a small number of clearly scoped opportunities
  • Confident, clear written and verbal communication, comfortable presenting to senior leadership including the CFO
  • Comfortable with genuine ambiguity in a small, fast-moving team, rather than a settled process to follow
  • Proficient with data analysis and visualisation tools such as Excel, Looker or Power BI
  • Degree-level education or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • A numerate or research-based background
