Job Summary
Senior Business Process Analyst at Syms Strategic Group (SSG), remote within the United States. The role focuses on leading the capture and management of business and technical requirements for software development teams, collaborating with IT, leadership, and customers, elaborating user stories, maintaining an ALM tool (JIRA), conducting backlog refinement, and ensuring traceability across requirements, tests, and risks. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
- U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
- Public Trust (MBI) security clearance or ability to obtain
- Ten years of professional experience (with substitution possible for education)
- Experience with SAFe and Agile software development
- Experience with JIRA for requirements management, testing, and defect tracking
- Experience in large, Agile software development or data integration projects
- Formal education: Master’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Healthcare domain knowledge and experience with VA or federal health agencies (preferred)
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to translate complex topics to non-technical audiences
- Experience leading/mentoring junior analysts
- CSA/CSM or PSM certifications (preferred)
- Knowledge of backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria
- Configuration and change management experience
- Experience with SAFe analytics and metrics
