Job Summary
Business Analyst to join Cotton On’s Global Technology team, focusing on digital/eCommerce platforms. You will translate business needs into actionable solutions, develop business cases, define requirements, support testing, and assess feasibility, timelines and impacts to systems. Lead analysis activities, gather insights, validate solutions, and build cross-functional relationships while mentoring others and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. 5+ years of BA experience in digital/eCommerce, experience with major enterprise eCommerce platforms, API integrations, and strong stakeholder engagement are required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst working on digital, eCommerce or customer-facing platforms
- Demonstrated experience working with at least one enterprise eCommerce platform (e.g. Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce - Magento, BigCommerce Enterprise, SAP Commerce Cloud - Hybris, commerce tools)
- Strong understanding of end-to-end eCommerce processes including; Product catalogue management, Search and merchandising, Promotions and pricing, Checkout, Payments, Order management, Fulfilment and returns, Customer accounts and loyalty
- Experience integrating third-party platforms including understanding of API integrations
- Understanding of modern web technologies and architecture
- Proven ability to analyse and document complex business processes and translate them into clear functional and non-functional requirements
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking capability to drive continuous improvement
