Job Summary
Envision, develop, and create requirements to improve tools that streamline processes and gain efficiencies. Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to decompose large epics into features and user stories for development approval. Facilitate increment and planning sessions to ensure work is well defined, then coach teams on agile delivery processes and client values. Manage risks, issues, and project scope while preparing progress reports against epics in an Agile environment. Document acceptance criteria in stories to align development teams and business stakeholders. Oversee scrum teams for key high-priority client projects and utilize issue tracking systems to monitor work across multiple product teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of experience functioning as a Business Analyst
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Experience using Agile methodologies
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff
- Ability to help teams write user stories/epics, identify dependencies, and design optimal solutions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Local to the Washington, DC metro area
- Must be able to identify and mitigate risks
Desired Qualifications
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform and shape digital experiences
- Ability to translate user needs into implementable, user-centered design solutions
- Proven success collaborating with cross-functional teams to communicate user and stakeholder needs in an Agile environment
- Strong understanding of technical specifications, platform constraints, and operational environments, with the ability to design effectively within them
- Demonstrated ability to design intuitive, accessible, and elegant user interfaces using a test-and-learn approach
