Job Summary
Define enterprise payment strategy, roadmap priorities, and system scope by leading requirements elicitation and translating complex business and technical needs into functional specifications. Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and vendors to ensure alignment of processes and policies, while managing project plans, milestones, and resource coordination for cross-functional initiatives. Oversee implementation, integration, and production deployments of payment enhancements, including user acceptance testing, defect tracking, and post-implementation validation against regulatory expectations. Monitor regulatory trends, advise leadership on operational impacts, and partner with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to develop policies and mitigation strategies. Analyze campaign performance, portfolio trends, and channel metrics to inform decision-making, support vendor relationship management, and drive portfolio growth strategies through segmentation and performance optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 Years of Experience
- Subject matter expert leading complex, cross-functional initiative while driving strategy
- Advanced understanding of payment operations, digital platforms, payment networks, and related vendors (e.g., Velera, Mastercard, ACH, RTP, FedNow)
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks applicable to financial institutions
- Demonstrated expertise in business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders across departments
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and develop reporting to support decision-making
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and ensure data accuracy and security
Desired Qualifications
- 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Progressive experience in Payments, Banking, or Financial Services strategy, with a strong record of leading complex projects
