Job Summary

Support the collection and documentation of business and functional requirements for event planning, crewing, onboarding, travel, hotel allocation, equipment management, and reporting workflows. Maintain the product backlog in Jira by writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and epics, while creating project artifacts like requirements docs, process flows, and wireframes in Confluence or Figma. Partner with QA to log defects, execute test cases, and support UAT sessions, then assist with vendor coordination to document data flows between the platform and downstream systems. Gather stakeholder feedback via surveys and interviews to feed the product roadmap, and provide post-launch support by monitoring issues and coordinating fixes with engineering. Participate in agile ceremonies and take ownership of small enhancements or process documentation projects with senior review.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience; internships involving product management, business analysis, project coordination, or software requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear, structured documentation
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; comfortable managing multiple small tasks simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset — comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools (Excel/Smartsheets/AirTable)
  • Familiarity with agile/scrum concepts and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc...
  • A proactive, curious attitude — eager to learn the business domain and ask good questions
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-based environment
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the U.S. as needed for event support
  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week

Desired Qualifications

  • Exposure to SQL is a plus
  • Interest in or exposure to media, broadcast, or live sports/event production
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, or similar) for drafting requirements, summarizing meetings, or accelerating documentation
  • Basic understanding of API-based system integrations (what they are, how data flows between systems) — no engineering background required
  • Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Power Platform, Retool) is a plus
  • Prior experience with any HRIS, travel & expense, or workforce management software (professionally or through school projects)
