Job Summary
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across banking operations. Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams while conducting gap analysis and process mapping for banking systems and workflows. Support User Acceptance Testing to validate solutions against requirements and prepare business cases, process flows, and documentation including BRDs, FSDs, and use cases. Liaise between business units, IT teams, and external vendors throughout project delivery while participating in Agile/Waterfall cycles for sprint planning and backlog grooming. This Senior Business Analyst role requires 6+ years of experience in the banking sector, a Bachelor's degree, and strong proficiency in requirements elicitation, process modeling tools like BPMN, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- solid exposure to the banking/financial services sector
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, IT, or related field
- Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements
- Experience with requirements elicitation techniques and documentation standards
- Familiarity with process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio)
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
Desired Qualifications
- Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, ECBA)
