Job Summary
Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria while facilitating requirements elicitation sessions for an AI-focused platform. Apply analytical techniques to assess data flows and system interactions, then negotiate solutions that balance technical feasibility with delivery timelines. Develop Decision Analysis and Resolutions documentation for customer approval and lead an Agile team employing the Scrum framework. Work with Data Scientists to make AI recommendations for process improvements and support documentation edits for senior leadership meetings. This role bridges technical and non-technical staff within a governed Azure environment, leveraging knowledge of cloud modernization and security guardrails to enable end users to build AI tooling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field OR equivalent years of work experience
- 2+ years of experience as a software business analyst, preferably working directly with AI tools and concepts
- 2+ years recent experience as a business analyst and cross-functional team member working in an agile development environment (i.e., scrum, kanban, etc.)
- Leading requirements management
- Requirements elicitation and documentation
- User story definition
- Acceptant criteria determination
- 2+ years experience with Jira (or similar Agile project tracking software)
- Comprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), Requirements Management, and Scope Management methodologies
- Must possess excellent analytical, organizational and product management skills
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of AI technologies and implementations
- Documented experience in cloud modernization efforts on AWS or Azure
- Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Product Owner
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and/or Scale Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Documented experience in leading scrum teams and unblocking development teams
- Skilled in managing and aligning requirements across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Works with Product Owner to groom and prioritize a backlog
- Highly organized and appreciation for details
- Resourceful and self-motivated
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
