Job Summary
Technical Business Analyst to serve as a Solution Subject Matter Expert (SME) within a complex enterprise lottery systems environment. Acts as bridge between business stakeholders, site operations, and Software Development to ensure solutions are technically feasible, architecturally aligned, and delivered. Lead requirements definition, author System Requirements Specifications (SRS) including functional and non-functional requirements, translate business needs into structured user stories with acceptance criteria, manage requirements in JIRA, respond to technical inquiries, validate feasibility with cross-functional teams, identify risks and integration impacts early in lifecycle, support design validation, UAT preparation, production readiness, and post-launch support, apply change-management governance, and ensure documentation quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of Business Analysis experience in complex system environments
- Experience participating in full life cycle (FLC) implementations
- Working knowledge of System architecture, Integration sequencing, Configuration & customization
- Experience developing use cases and conducting gap analysis
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly at all organizational levels
- Strong documentation and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Lottery industry experience preferred
- Experience using JIRA or similar backlog management tools
- Strong technical aptitude and systems thinking, with demonstrated experience authoring detailed functional and system requirements
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, multi-project environments while maintaining quality and attention to technical detail
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams and drive alignment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including experience translating business needs into technically sound requirements and identifying integration impacts
- Customer-focused professional written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
