Business Analyst

Job Summary
The Business Analyst supports the implementation and enhancement of software products for new and existing clients, performing requirements gathering, defining functional design specifications, testing, QA, and coordinating with stakeholders. Responsibilities include analyzing system scope and objectives, developing and implementing software/scripts, reviewing test plans to ensure coverage, guiding the business analysis team as SME, facilitating issue resolution, managing requirements through the project lifecycle, and providing underwriting-related guidance and configuration of plans and rules in a cloud-based insurance platform.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in an individual contributor Associate / Business Analysis role
- 5+ years insurance industry experience in Life and Annuities (L&A) Insurance background
- Policy administration, Illustration, Underwriting knowledge and implementation experience in the insurance industry, specifically Life and Health solutions
- Requirement gathering and documentation experience
- Experience working with configurable enterprise systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working within a born-in-the-cloud environment, with demonstrated familiarity in cloud-native platforms, SaaS-based Life and Annuity solutions, and modern cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) as applied to insurance product delivery, policy administration, and digital transformation initiatives
