Job Summary
Elicit requirements from business stakeholders and translate problems into actionable tasks for Enterprise Data & Analytics projects. Design analytics solutions and data models from a business user perspective, coordinating with development teams to implement initiatives within SAFe Agile. Document acceptance criteria, create test plans, and manage analytical troubleshooting to ensure smooth project delivery. Lead data governance processes by maintaining business glossaries, transformation rules, and categorization practices while identifying quality issues. Provide training to business users on visualization tools like ThoughtSpot and Tableau, and act as the primary point of contact for business partners to address challenges and articulate needs effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a business analyst, data product manager or in a similar position
- Professional level understanding of general business processes and functions
- Demonstrable experience in working with data and databases
- Fluent business English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a global environment
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with stakeholders
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately
Desired Qualifications
- MBA
- Demonstrable experience in working with Google Cloud Platform/BigQuery
- Demonstrable experience in reporting/visualization tools (ThoughtSpot, Tableau and/or IBM Cognos Analytics)
- Knowledge of data governance practices and data management tools, particularly Collibra
- Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles and practices, including an understanding of Agile methodologies, ceremonies, and tools
- Certification in SAFe
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
