Job Summary
Business Analyst needed to join the Systems Development team in the ITAM & FinOps division to identify, analyse and document business and system requirements for License Dashboard systems and customer-facing platforms. Serve as a liaison between customers, business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure solutions are clearly defined, documented and aligned to business goals. Responsibilities include gathering requirements through workshops, interviews, surveys and analysis; developing functional specifications, user stories, workflows and process maps; supporting product roadmaps; ensuring stakeholder sign-off; collaborating with internal teams and external vendors; driving adoption of new systems; participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement. Primary location is Pocklington, England with hybrid working options aligned to team requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or similar
- Experience in software development lifecycle methodologies
- Experience in Agile environments desirable
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and structured documentation/analysis
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear language
- Proactive and collaborative mindset
- Ability to work independently when required
- Commercial awareness and focus on business outcomes
