Business Analyst - Onsite Operations

Job Summary
Onsite Business Analyst supporting the National Distribution Service Center. Responsibilities include compiling, analyzing, and reporting statistical data to evaluate current efforts and guide strategic goals; evaluating operational trends and processes to identify cost containment opportunities; tracking and reporting KPIs weekly, monthly, and quarterly; partnering with Operations Leadership to compare performance and with procurement to align inventory with forecasts; assisting in item profiling and facility mapping to optimize warehouse efficiency; supporting inventory control activities such as cycle counts and recalls; operating material handling equipment and supporting safe, efficient warehouse movement and order fulfillment; delivering projects with thorough documentation; handling internal and external analytic requests; and applying advanced Excel/Microsoft Office skills and strong communication to drive data-informed decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (preferred major in Information Systems, Transportation and Logistics, or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1–3 years of operations, warehouse, or analytical experience in distribution/logistics
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or inventory tracking systems
- Experience operating material handling equipment (forklifts, stock pickers, pallet jacks, etc.) in a distribution environment
- Experience analyzing operational metrics (productivity, throughput, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment)
- Exposure to warehouse layout planning, item slotting, or facility optimization initiatives
