Business Analyst

Job Summary
Conduct requirements elicitation and analysis for finance and technology stakeholders, facilitating workshops to define testable specifications for financial reporting and consolidation processes. Drive solution design for data integration, metadata management, and intercompany eliminations while ensuring alignment with architecture and governance standards. Lead UAT, backlog refinement, and sprint planning to support Agile delivery of system enhancements, validating that functional specifications meet business needs and reporting requirements. Analyze financial data to identify trends and assess upstream/downstream impacts, ensuring data integrity and compliance with audit controls throughout the month-end and year-end close cycles.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years' experience in Business Analysis within Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Finance /Honours in Information Systems /Business Analysis OR Postgraduate Diploma in Business Analysis or similar
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong experience with Oracle Hyperion (EPM/HFM) stack and/or Oracle ERP SAAS and/or Accurate (automating reconciliation knowledge)
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, group consolidation, and finance controls
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Proven capability in data analysis, solution design, testing, and stakeholder management
Desired Qualifications
- University short courses are advantageous
- Life insurance industry experience preferred
