Job Summary
Plan the most effective approach and techniques for each project or piece of work while analysing, eliciting, documenting, and validating requirements. Work with stakeholders to understand needs, manage relationships, and maintain clear requirements traceability. Support solution analysis, functional specifications, current and future state mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessment. Assist with test activities, including triage and impact analysis, and contribute to risk management and business case development. Share learnings, support peer reviews, mentor team members, and identify ways to improve efficiency and re-use artefacts. This 12-month fixed term role supports customer experience activities within the Mercer Super Portfolio function, with a key focus on a large-scale rebrand project.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience applying multiple business analysis methodologies and tools
- Well-developed communication, listening and stakeholder engagement skills
- Working knowledge of business analysis planning, elicitation, requirements lifecycle management, strategy analysis, design definition and solution evaluation
- Experience working in agile, lean and waterfall delivery environments
- Experience in financial services, preferably superannuation
- Familiarity with superannuation systems and business functions
- Experience working on large corporate re-brand programs
- Experience using collaboration and workflow tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Business analysis certification such as ECBA, CCBA, CSBA, PMI-ACP or equivalent
- Experience with CMS platforms, SQL and data visualisation tools such as Tableau
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or ASFA accreditation
- Appropriate approval to work in Australia
- Ability to complete a Criminal & Bankruptcy check prior to commencing of employment
- Ability to work at least three days a week in the office
- Ability to work in Melbourne or Sydney
