Job Summary
Business Analyst role in Mexico City focused on driving performance and strategy for Lalamove. You will gather, analyze, and interpret data to improve business performance, define and run cross-functional projects, build analytical insights/tools, and collaborate with the Managing Director to shape long-term strategy for Mexico. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing performance data across sales, marketing, and operations; providing data-driven recommendations to improve processes and efficiency; conducting market research and sharing knowledge on market and technology trends; monitoring progress of strategic initiatives and adjusting as conditions change. Required qualifications include a statistics/data analysis/business administration degree, 3-4 years of relevant experience, proficiency with Excel/SQL/Python/R/BI tools, strong analytical and communication skills in Spanish and English, and the ability to work autonomously with effective time management.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in statistics, data analysis, business administration or related field
- At least 3-4 years of experience in data analysis and business strategy development, management consulting, strategy, financial background or project management experience
- Knowledge in data analysis tools (such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, BI tools)
- Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
- Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences
- Able to prioritize, work autonomously and manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
