Job Summary
Business Analyst leads design and build of IT systems and processes to support performance marketing programs, elicits and documents business and system requirements, analyzes data, documents acceptance criteria, tests software and processes, negotiates expectations, retrieves data for reports, troubleshoots issues, and acts as SME for performance marketing systems. Responsibilities include consulting with clients and internal teams, delivering professional presentations, documenting system scope and process flows, coordinating development estimates and timelines, applying project management principles, negotiating scope changes, designing user-friendly systems, documenting requirements and test scenarios, coordinating releases, training and mentoring Systems Coordinators and Account Managers, extracting data with SQL Server Management Studio for ad-hoc reporting, and effectively communicating causes and impacts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role also requires the ability to travel to client locations and sales offices periodically and to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure program operations meet client needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related major or comparable work experience
- Minimum of six years combined experience in a service industry in Business Analyst, Developer and Quality Assurance Analyst roles
- Minimum of six years of demonstrated knowledge in client server and web-based business applications
- Minimum of six years of experience using data analysis techniques to determine business requirements and design information systems
- Minimum of three years experience leading or assisting in leading teams
- Minimum of three years experience accessing and developing with relational databases
- Minimum of six years experience with technical writing to produce process and specification documentation
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills demonstrated in the effective balancing of multiple projects within required time frames
- Ability to travel to client locations and sales office on a limited basis (up to approximately one 3-day trip quarterly)
- Ability to listen, understand and respond to external and internal customers’ needs in a timely manner; customer service experience in a service-related industry preferred
