Job Summary
IT Business Analyst responsible for gathering and validating functional and non-functional requirements, translating product specifications to IT requirements for development teams, modeling current and future business processes, and conducting impact analyses within IT transformation programs. Acts as a linking pin across multiple workstreams, vendors, and deliverables, identifying risks and scope changes, and escalating as needed. Requires strong stakeholder management, excellent Dutch and English communication, and experience in IT transformation in the insurance domain. Proficiency with core platforms such as Salesforce and SAP FS-PM/FS-CM, plus familiarity with data/policy migrations and API integrations. Partially remote, cross-functional product team in the Intermediary Non-Life IT department in The Hague area.
Required Qualifications
- HBO/WO (Bachelor’s or Master’s) level education
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment
- Experience within the insurance sector (hard requirement)
- Proven track record in guiding IT transformation programs (legacy migrations, platform replacements, core system implementations)
- Strong stakeholder management across levels and disciplines
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication in Dutch and English
- Knowledge of core insurance platforms and back-end systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP FS-PM, SAP FS-CM)
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP/CCBA) or project management (e.g. Prince2, SAFe) or equivalent
