Job Summary
Liaise directly with the client to understand business needs, pain points, and goals, then gather, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements. Translate these requirements into clear user stories, use cases, or functional specifications for the development team while managing documentation and workflows in Confluence. Create and track tasks using Trello, collaborate closely with developers, QA, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle, and conduct gap analysis between current processes and desired outcomes. Facilitate requirement-gathering meetings or workshops with the client and support UAT to confirm delivered solutions meet requirements. Adapt flexibly between single-client dedication and rotation across multiple projects based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst (or similar role)
- Strong communication skills — comfortable working directly with clients
- Hands-on experience with Confluence and Trello (or similar tools like JIRA)
- Experience with requirement-gathering techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys)
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) — Agile/Scrum preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to write clear, structured documentation (BRD, FRS, user stories)
- Comfortable adapting to shifting priorities/projects
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a client-facing / agency environment
- Exposure to wireframing tools (Figma, Balsamiq, Lucidchart)
- Basic SQL or data analysis skills
- Certification such as CBAP, ECBA, or PMI-PBA (not mandatory)
