Job Summary
Business Analyst for Grey County Information Technology leads engagement with business to elicit, analyze and document project requirements, translates business needs into technology solution requirements, and documents deliverables such as the Business Case, User Stories and Business Requirement documents. Applies lean and agile methods to map as-is and to-be processes, supports development of strategic technology roadmaps for core areas (asset management, finance, corporate services), and collaborates with stakeholders to assess impact, define performance measures (IT KPIs), and communicate designs and roadmaps. Requires strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, experience with interviewing staff and leads to gather requirements, and experience with enterprise applications, SOW preparation, and delivering technology solutions to improve efficiency and service levels. Desirable assets include IIBA/PMI certifications, lean training, and foundational project management concepts. The role is hybrid (home County office) with occasional travel; typical hours ~35/week. Required Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in business administration or related discipline, with 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
