Job Summary
Translate business needs into clear, actionable, and testable requirements by working with Product Managers and technology teams to evaluate processes, identify constraints, and provide solution feasibility. Elicit requirements, analyze data, and create detailed specifications including wireframes, process flows, and user stories that align with product vision and strategy. Perform impact analysis on existing systems, define acceptance criteria, and support user acceptance testing to ensure delivered outcomes meet intended business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- BSc degree in Business, Business Analysis, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- 5+ years in a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst role
- Experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree
- Proven experience in business analysis, translating business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
- Proven experience analysing processes, complex data sets, business workflows and translating epics and features into detailed business requirements
- Experience with identifying dependencies, constraints, and edge cases, creating use cases and user stories
- Experience in producing product/solution wireframes, process flows, data flows and aligning them with different user personas and functional areas
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with clinical trials, patient safety, data integrity and associated regulations
- Familiarity with GxP or other regulated environments (eg trading systems)
- Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation planning strategies
- Understanding of SaaS application and integration architectures and how they can and should be utilized to achieve business goals
- Familiarity with user experience concepts and best practices
- Familiarity with modelling tools (e.g. MS Visio, PowerPoint), UX tools (Balsamiq, Figma) and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), and portfolio and requirements management tools (JIRA, DevOps, OnePlan)
- Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams to meet strategic objectives, influence decisions and provide conflict resolution
- 5+ years experience working with clinical trial systems/applications and understanding of the computer systems utilized in support of clinical trials
