Job Summary
Business Analyst III to work onsite in Washington, DC with our global client. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for the OutSystems STEP v2 solution. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting requirements, facilitating workshops and elicitation sessions, creating user stories and process flows, supporting backlog refinement with the Product Owner, developing BPMN/flow diagrams, use cases, and acceptance criteria, ensuring traceability from requirements to design, development and testing, collaborating with Solution Architects and Developers, participating in sprint planning and retrospectives, supporting UAT with test scenarios, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years BA experience in IT projects, Agile/Scrum, OutSystems or similar low-code, and SDLC knowledge; preferred skills include enterprise modernization, API integrations, multi-stakeholder environments, and UX/UI knowledge. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proven experience with digital platforms or low-code solutions (preferably OutSystems)
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
