Job Summary
Gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements while collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into actionable solutions. Participate in recurring project meetings, status reviews, and working groups to track actions, risks, issues, and deliverables. Conduct business process analysis to identify efficiency opportunities, support requirements elicitation through interviews and workshops, and create requirements traceability matrices. Assist with developing business process documentation, workflows, and SOPs, while preparing project documentation, reports, and meeting minutes. Validate system functionality against requirements, support user acceptance testing, and facilitate communication among business stakeholders and leadership. Monitor project progress, manage change management activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to ensure program objectives are met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting IT programs, systems, or technology projects
- Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements
- Familiarity with business process analysis, workflow documentation, and requirements management practices
- Experience preparing reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and project documentation
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
- U.S. Citizen and ability to get the clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and/or Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) programs
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or Microsoft Project
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), ECBA, CCBA, PMP, or Agile-related certification
- Experience supporting system implementation, modernization, or digital transformation initiatives
