Job Summary
Collect and refine business and functional requirements from stakeholders including clients, engineering, architecture, security, and operations to ensure server framework capabilities meet performance, scalability, and compliance. Lead product discovery and technical deep dives, translating complex infrastructure needs into clear product requirements and actionable roadmaps. Engage with engineering and QA members daily to ensure timely delivery of key projects while promoting a smooth developer experience. Become subject matter expert in coverage areas to provide feedback that shapes the product roadmap and growth strategy, supporting sales, professional services, and support activities to enhance client experience and future growth. This role leads roadmap execution for foundational backend capabilities within the Charles River and Alpha Platforms, joining the Platform Core Services team within CRIMS.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in technical product management, platform engineering, or infrastructure strategy within a SaaS environment
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, containerization (e.g., Kubernetes), event-driven systems, and authentication/authorization frameworks
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-impact platform capabilities
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage deeply with engineers and architects
- Experience with Azure cloud services and enterprise security/compliance requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries
- Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) for Agile project management and collaboration
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills
- Hybrid work model - at least 3 days from the office/week
