Business Analyst, HRIS

Job Summary
Conduct business requirements analysis by interviewing HR users to uncover operational problems and translate needs into functional specifications. Evaluate current workflows for HR, Payroll, and Training to recommend configuration changes that streamline service delivery. Coordinate system testing for HRMS upgrades, patches, and integrations while documenting scripts and tracking resolution results. Design complex queries and dashboards to satisfy compliance metrics, run routine data audits, and resolve functional errors or data discrepancies for internal customers. Build standard operating procedures and deliver system training to diverse stakeholders. Support large-scale HRIS initiatives by maintaining project documentation and coordinating with third-party vendors. This role serves as the primary conduit between HR and IT across Payroll, Benefits, and Training functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, HR Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience utilizing enterprise HR suites
- All candidates must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
- Candidates must be required to provide proof of employment eligibility at the time of hire

Desired Qualifications
- UKG Pro/UltiPro
- Professional HR or Business Analyst certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, or CBAP)
- Prior experience working on core payroll, HRMS and time and attendance system configurations
- Ability to anticipate and understand customer needs and provide guidance
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills to handle difficult and sensitive matters
- Strong project management skills
