Job Summary
Business Analyst for Bank of America's Global Payments Solutions Data Strategy and Governance (DSG) team. Responsible for Merchant Services reporting deliverables and ad-hoc queries, helping to define merchant data and reporting strategy, and supporting data and reporting solutions using the Merchant Commerce data sources. Will partner with Technology, Operations, and Merchant leadership to deliver data-enabled insights, ensure data quality and metadata integrity, enable regulatory reporting and analytics, and contribute to data initiatives with emphasis on accuracy, traceability, and resiliency. Must possess solid data analysis experience, SQL proficiency, and familiarity with Python and BI tools ( Tableau ), and be adept at communicating complex data concepts to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5-7 years of hands-on data analysis and reporting experience
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Python
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau preferred)
- Familiarity with JIRA
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Ability to manage data quality, lineage, controls, and issue management as part of Enterprise Data Management policies
- Ability to deliver data and reporting solutions aligned with business objectives and regulatory expectations
